Air Shelters

Shelters from Vanguard sets the standard being the first on the market with features such as waterbelts, translucent roofs, integrated shower systems and medical colour schemes. Our inflatable tents are rigorously tested and preferred as field hospitals, command posts or NBC colpro stations by a considerable number of Rescue-, Nato-Forces and Non Governmental Organizations.

In every corner of the globe, the NBC – or now more commonly known as CBRN terrorism debate appears to be escalating and in the event of an incident every country has a critical interest in protecting its individuals against the effects of chemicals warfare agents.

People who have been exposed to life threatening or chemical contamination should undergo decontamination with warm water as soon as possible.
Shelter
The Airshelter is one of the most successful products of ACD. It has a long standing reputation for giving shelter at rescue sites or in any situation where time or manpower is of critical importance. They are known for their easy handling, durability and lightweight nature. We have a wide range in sizes and inflation systems. The inflated Airshelters range comprises continuous inflated, fully pressurized inflated and semi inflatable shelters. Inflation by means of blower, ventilator, compressed air cylinder or aspirator.
The Euroshelters are tactical soft walled shelters with an integrated articulated frame. They are modular tents man portable with an integrated support system of high quality carbon fibre.

This compact, single, and immediately assembled shelter is specially designed for use in any emergency or disaster situation, or any situation where time or manpower is of critical importance. The many features of the Airshelter include easy and immediate assembly, adaptability to a variety of uses, innovative construction and durability of materials.

The Airshelter is inflated using compressed air or an electric blower. A 200/300 bar air cylinder in connection with a pressure reducing valve can be used to inflate the airframe. Uses of the Airshelter can vary from an emergency hospital site and casualty station to a disaster site with a control, waiting and decontamination room.
