Holmatro introduces its new Cross Ram support Set XRS01, specially designed to distribute the force of a ram over a larger area during cross ramming. This prevents the ram from pushing through car (interior) materials, such as door cards, seat fabric, roof panels and B-pillars, which would make it lose its effectiveness.
About Cross Ramming
Cross Ramming is a technique to create space when parts of the vehicle are deformed and obstruct a safe patient extrication. With the help of a ram the car construction is pushed back into its original shape. The new Cross Ram Support Set can be used together with all Holmatro rams.

The set consists of a smaller and a larger model. The smaller support can be used on a vehicle’s dashboard and roof. The larger support is designed for use on the rear seat. Both models are suitable for use on the B-pillars.
